I estimate that I probably lost about 5-10 QSOs on the 1st radio for working
those 470 QSOs on second radio in WPX.

It's tempting to think about running dueling CQs on two bands in WPX, instead of S&P on one, but unless you're really adept, which I'm not, I suppose that could lead to some awkward pauses on both bands at various times.
