I completely agree with this. But the challenge of working QRP isn't the
issue here.

1. The TBDC scoring is weighted too heavily in favor of a QRP entry.

2. There are a lot of plaques available for a fairly small participation
contest.

3. This motoviates many to enter in the QRP category because they want to
WIN a plaque.

4. If it wasn't for the scoring advantage, many of these same stations
would be QRO.

5. The quanity of long-distance DX QSOs has decreased as a result of so
many running QRP.

6. This makes the contest less interesting and exciting to me.

Just my opinion. I have nothing against those that want to run QRP. Because
their running QRP makes me (running QRO) a better operator. This is a
scoring issue.
