Just in case you missed some of the previous mail (KB5NFN, JE1CKA, ...), I would like to confirm that, indeed, there is no virus with PED408I.EXE. I contacted Symantec yesterday to confirm the bug with their Norton Desktop for Windows Antivirus code (V2.0). Since then, I have downloaded a new .DEF file from their BBS. Now the antivirus program finds nothing wrong with PED. Sorry for the false alarm. 73, Ed K1TR p.s. Tnx again KB5NFN! |
