I want to interface my Icom IC-706 M II G to my alpha 9500 amplifier.

Why? This el cheapo POS is a major trash generator, and driving ANY amp makes you a really bad neighbor on the bands. The louder we are, the greater our responsibility as hams to put out a CLEAN signal. If you can afford a 9500, you can afford a low cost rig like a Kenwood 590S or 590SG that is a LOT cleaner and a LOT better radio in every way. GigaiParts has them new for $1280 with free shipping.
