I have the SPE 1.3K-FA Amp.
I run it at 1KW on the Mid setting.
I do operate RTTY, for DX not
contests and it performs quite well.
It's the best Amp I have had in 60
years of Hamming.
I really don't feel like a "second
class" Ham just because I choose
to limit myself to only a KW out !!
I may not be the first guy through
in the pileup, but I certainly am not
the last.
