Same with the marine environment.
For some reason, hams seem to prefer soldered over crimped, but if
properly done, you can try to pull apart a crimped connection and the
wire will break before the crimp lets go.
Incidentally, please don't use those two dollar crimpers. A proper
crimper has a ratchet that won't let go until the full cycle is
complete and should cost around $20 more or less. You need one for
wires and one for coax unless you can find one with changeable dies.
