Vic,

Seriously, I'd be surprised if anybody actually would know except by experience!

As the old saying goes (admittedly capable of mis-interpretation in the USA!)
'Suck it and see!'

 Subject: [Amps] Screen regulation

For reasons that I won't go into, I want to put a 22 ohm resistor between a
regulated supply and the screen of a 4CX1000A. This would upset the
regulation to the tune of 0.77 volts when the screen current swings between
0 and 35 mA. Without the resistor, the regulator holds the screen voltage
constant within 0.1 volt from 0 to 35 mA.
From the standpoint of linearity/IMD would this be a problem?
