### NO, according to the schematic the Centurian is a PI network  only.  
Based on the value of the load variable cap I should think that no  additional 
padding is needed on 40 meters.  The load variable is 800pf and  I suspect 
that no padding is needed and as the schematic shows there is 330pf  added 
in on 40M.  I'll bet that the load cap would have to be pretty much  more 
than half open on 40M.  I would imagine it still works but it seems to  make 
more sense to have the 430pf moved over to the open terminal on 160 and  then 
the 330pf moved over to the 80M spot and have the 40M spot with no padding,  
leaving the variable to do the job by itself.  None of the other dual 3-500 
 amps in its class use padding on 40M and they have 850pf load caps.
