" Jerry was a graduate of Wayne State University and a member of the Athletic
Hall of Fame.
He graduated from Harvard University, with a doctorate in applied physics.
Jerry taught at Wayne State University.
He worked for Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, and retired as the director of
technical relations. "
Harvard? Doctorate in Applied Physics? I don't know about anyone else, but
those credentials impress me, whether he worked as a history professor at some
time or not!
