what causes the resistor(s) to go bad? is it the surging like turning on and
off an incandescent light bulb? iow, how often is this going to be a
replaceable component? replace annually if used daily or twice daily?
RL Howard did do the update/upgrade of this amp in 2009. since then, the
owner used it about 50 times. I then acquired it last month or in August and
have used it on average, about 4 times a week. All of this was in MARS
service. We have no idea whether RL replaced this circuitry or any of its
components. Probably not.
Any thoughts?
