Ahhh...I used to get more than that out of them, but they did get pretty
bright. Sure were rugged. OTOH I still like the 6C21, or 750TH. They
are big, impressive, give off lots of light and heat, were easy to
drive, terrible to neutralize if you operated much more than 80 and 40.
I had one with a passive grid. The first time I said, hello test one
half of the plate disappeared. Good thing spares were only $5 each. Now
days they are over a $100 USD each. IIRC those tubes were something
like 18" tall. Just the thing to build up inside a glass case for
conversation's sake. A couple of 833's glowing in the dark are
impressive, but strange looking. The 6C21/750TH make them look tiny.
Of course a pair of 4-1000A's look pretty impressive too. I remember
when a pair of those was considered a California Kilowatt.
