Jim, Just what are the hazards you are referring to? Please share some details of what the hazard is of an oil containing PCBs in a sealed container such as a transformer or capacitor. There are plenty of safe alternatives available. It's irresponsible to condone the use of PCBs just because you haven't been convinced of the hazards.
