Hi Randolf,
If you email Alpha about your problem asking them for the reset
codes (26 lines to enter in total) they should give it to you.
They do ask that owners do not post this infomation on the net.
So Email Molly sales@alpharadioproducts.com giving her the reasons for needing
the codes.
I now have my 87A working 100% (apart from the smell of fags)
PS: my fault code 24 was solved by moving the tap from 240v to 220v
Best of luck

Hi all,
I just got a 2nd hand Alpha 87a as "dead"
I got the reset info from Alpha and did the full reset to allow me to power
the unit up.
It came up with a fault 37 (band switch not moving), after checking this and
giving the bandswitch
a turn both ways, this now seems to be OK.
Now amp turns on, after 3mins the (wait) let goes off and within 5 mins i
keep getting
fault 24 (System voltage fault. High voltage, 1/-15 volts, or -109 volts
below safe operating )
To this time I have never TX'ed the amp.

Hello Paul!
Just read your mail. I have also some problems with the 87A and looked for
any reset-info at the manual: none.
Would you be so kind and pass the reset-info to me?
