Thanks for the Cardwell info Bob. Maybe the seller has the wrong part number.
If the inductor he is selling is the 209-203-1 then it isn't even close to what
I need. He is going to send me pics. Looks like I will have to use a Radio
Switch 88 and a large Gates 34uH fixed inductor, which should handle 30A++.
Thanks,
Bob W6TR

Bob,
Take a look at this web page - Cardwell now makes the old EF Johnson line:
http://www.cardwellcondenser.com/PAGES/md04g.html
Lists only the standard parts and the 229-203-3 you refer to must have been a
variation of the 229-203-1 to add a bit more inductance so the -3 is perhaps a
bit longer. Interesting as I never knew they had specials outside of the 10, 18
and 28 uH lines. They all seemed to share the same front and end plates and
the length was the only variable. Hope this is of some help.

Anybody have any info on a EF Johnson 229-203-3 34uH roller inductor? Pics
and specs and dimensions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob W6TR
