Dick, the company I work for repairs a 75 MHz 100 watt FM transmitter that
uses the SD1460 in the 100 watt final amp. They have been used for 20+
years and are a pretty rugged, cost effective part. I do not know about
linear application, these transmitter are class C. I would also be
interested in any results you may have using them in a linear application.
