Hi all,
MEK was (perhaps is still used) as a
solvent/thinner for epoxy resin in boat
building/repairs.
Though never seeing any warning about
inhalation, eye protection was stressed.
Any splash required water wash within 4
seconds, otherwise serious eye damage would
occur.
I always treated it with great care, and mixed it
with epoxy resin in open air, wearing wrap-
around goggles.
