Thanks for the help. Another ham found a copy he's going to send me so I'll be
able to see the full specs. What it is, I have a Heath scope here with a
horizontal sweep transistor bad. GE made the transistor, but nobody like ECG or
NTE crosses it. It had either an internal diode or resistor across the
collector to emitter junction which was an oddity. I repaired one of these
years back when I had a copy of that book. I sold a bunch of stuff a few years
back, and that book went with it I think as I can't find it now. GE quit the
replacement business in the later 80's I think it was, and thus no more cross
books. On the repair last time, I looked the transistor up, figured one out
that would replace it, and added the resistor/diode outside it. I have a few
notes here in a manual on the scope, but never wrote down what I replaced the
thing with. I guess where it was an oddball transistor, ECG and others never
bothered crossing it, or buying them from GE and rebranding them.
