Heavier Loading: I don't think this comes into play with an oversized tube
running 1/3 it's rated plate dissipation ... ??? Example 3cpx5000a7 at 1500
watts output. You'll be inside the linear curve always, if designed
correctly. Just peak the output and all is well... I think. ( I'm no rocket
scientist so correct me if necessary. )

** Q's essentially the same. Jim. Loading heavier keeps the
instantaneous anode potential from dipping down into the non-linear
region of the tube where anode-current is max. On the characteristic
curves, this is the area at the left where the flat lines begin to bend
-- and that's where distortion begins.
