[Amps] 3rd Order IMD

Looking through Bill Orr's handbook, I found a table that gives the 3rd
order IMD for 6146's in AB1 as about -24/25 db.  If that's the case, how can
your signal be any cleaner than that as long as the IMD of your amplifier
tube is no worse than that?
