I was faced with that small dilemma once. Took about 20 seconds or so
to make the decision. After weighing the cost of plug vs 10'of three
conductor line cord, I cut the 110v plug off and wired up the new 220v
plug from purchased for Home Depot.
My thought was, "I'll let the next owner put on a 110v plug if he likes.
Go price a molded line cord for 220v. You will more tthan likely reach
the same conclusion I did. Btw, the next owner was giggly happy to see
the amp had been jumpered and the plug changed for 220v operation.
