Hello, I noticed that most plate chokes are wound with very thin gauge wire and varying diameter. I assume that would make it quite resistive/lossy. Some are split and mounted at right angles. Is there an advantage to using a thin gauge conductor other than space considerations? 73 VE3YN _________________________________________________________________ Powerful Parental Controls Let your child discover the best the Internet has to offer. http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-ca&page=byoa/prem&xAPID=1994&DI=1034&SU=http://hotmail.com/enca&HL=Market_MSNIS_Taglines Start enjoying all the benefits of MSN® Premium right now and get the first two months FREE*. _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
