Thanks for the quick reply and info on the tubes Carl. As for the relay,
yes, I never connect an older amp to a newer radio direct, even when some of
them do work. I have the little Ameritron amp interface that works with my
SB-220 and L-4B. I am sure it would works just fine with the Collins.
Hopefully I'll get to buy me a Collins radio to go with the amp--wishful
thinking-- and then I won't have to worry about it. ;>
