I'll give it a try with a single GU84b. The goal, produce a 800 Watts on
its socks, and with a longer livetime then mine.......... ( 71 already
).
I'll use Ian's G3SEK's Tetrode control boards.
I have seen an input board from a SM??? with reed relay switching, but I
can't find back who and where.
Finaly, is it allowed to mount the GU84b horizontally ?
My guess is yes since the tube is most certainly used in some VHF/UHF
coax cavity resonator.
