Hi Angel,
Motorola used to make these as the MOC3031, MOC3041, MOC3061, MOC3081
series good for 250V, 400V, 600V & 800V respectively. I don't know if
that product line went to ON Semi, has stayed at Mot or went somewhere
else.

There was an article in May 1987, QST Magazine, pp23-25 that
implemented a plate V regulator this-a-way and exhibited poor results
with zero crossing operation. The author reverted to using a standard
opto-isolator.
