I am building a linear using a 4CX1500A that needs about 38 amps at 5 volts for the filament. I have two identical 5V 21A filament transformers. Is there any reason why I can't wire the two in parallel to get the required amperage the filament? I would put a current inrush limiter for a soft start. David C.
