I've been running a power supply at 4800 volts and am thinking of going to the next tap which will yield 5600 VDC. The capacitive input filter is sixteen 2400 MFD 450 VDC computer grade caps (150 MFD @ 7200 VDC) each cap bypassed with 100K 5% 3W resistors. Considering all the tolerances in the circuit will I still be in the comfort zone at 5600 VDC ? 73, Ken W2DTC _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
