Had a tube short.
Also took out part # 104-0150, 1.5 ohm resistor.
# 104-0060, .6 ohm resistor.
# 200-1100-7, .001 uf, 7.5 KVA cap.
# 300-4007, 1N4007 diode.
Replaced all three tubes and the above parts.
Amplifier is working OK (output vs input) except the grid current pins the
meter now,
when before the grid current was approx. 120 to 130 MA .
Reducing drive to 20 watts vs 40 watts that I usually ran for 600 watts output,
to get the required 120 MA of grid current , now gives me a max. of 325 watts
output.
High voltage is about 1700 volts key up and about 1500 volts under load.
I have also checked the 180 ohm resistor in series with meter to ground. It is
OK.
Need suggestions or help please.
