NOT! Heater = 6.3V @ 25 amps Tube not really designed for linear
  service... here's specs ...
The 3CX1500D3 is a forced air cooled, ceramic/metal, medium-mu power triode
designed primarily for use in industrial radio frequency heating services.
Input of 4.3 kW is permissible up to 110 MHz. Plentiful reserve emission is
available from its 158 watt filament. The grid structure is rated at 75
watts, making this tube an excellent choice for industrial service.

Better find the filament transformer also 5.8 volts at 145 amps!
