Jeff: is there only one rectifier? only two leads? If only two leads =
then you likely have a half-wave rectifier setup, in which case one =
secondary transformer lead would in fact likely be connected either =
directly to ground or to the negative end of the capacitor bank for B - =
..It is also likely that the caps. are all connected in series to obtain =
the voltage requirements for the ckt. do you know how much ac voltage is =
on the secondary?? do you have any idea what the amp model is? that =
would help to pin this thing down. If I can help further let me =

part made by VARO P/N# VC60X. When looking how it might have been =

before, it looks like it wasn't configured for a full wave rectifier =

it looks like some special kind of half wave rectifier with one of the =
outputs of the HV transformer going directly to either the output HV =
or to=20
ground. All of the schematics I can find always show each side of the=20
transformer must "see" a rectifier before it goes to the filter bank =
or a=20
output.=20
Unfortunately, I cannot get a schematic of how this power supply was =
build=20
before. Can anyone help me with this strange problem ??=20
