It should be possible by increasing L-supp, Steve. The problem with the
factory stock suppressors is that they are made from high Q silver-plated
strap. If L-supp is increased, to decrease VHF Q - and stop bandswitch
arcing, the resistors (R-supp) are virtually certain to burn out on 10m.
The bottom-line on using resistance-wire is that it reduces the
dissipative burden on R-supp.
