True up to a point. The pro SSB op can usually maintain that rate over
time as compared to CW which is more physical.
It has often been mentioned in QST, etc that a skilled SSB contester
would be the best choice for emergency communications since he is more in
touch with conditions, strategy and pressure than the so called net ops.
Now that assumes that his station is operational in the disaster zone or
is outside and able to relay both ways.
