Ive lost a chip on the timer board of my AL-1500. This causes the HV to hit the 8877 on power-up. If I wait 3-4 minutes before applying drive am I safe? Or, does the quick advent of HV hurt the tube even without drive? 73, Larry K4AB -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/ampfaq.html Submissions: amps@contesting.com Administrative requests: amps-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-amps@contesting.com Search: http://www.contesting.com/km9p/search.htm |
