Why? I have a 30 KV probe used for televisions that I use to measure my
anode voltage all the time. I've never had a problem. Of course, it
does have a slide switch that allows you to touch the circuitry with the
meter turned off. Otherwise, you'd get a nice arc. But it works fine.
