Nope, but if the originals lasted all these years I wouldn't worry about
it. After all there is a bit of safety overhead in CGS caps. Ive run 8 of
them in a modified SB-220 at 3900V with no ill effect for several years.
(Not recommended with the smaller 381LX series) .
I would suggest that he check the standby voltage and IF it is excessive
then adding caps would be warranted. When that amp was built a 220-230VAC
line was the norm; now its 240-250V many places.
