Amen to that. I knew a guy at Marconi's who lost an eye when an
electrolytic went up in his face. But even keeping the blow hole
pointing away doesn't always prevent accidents - there was lab in a
wooden hut at Marconi's with an electrolytic can embedded in a 2 by 4
roof truss, where it exploded upwards and the can came out of the clamp.
