Comments:
Apologies to AJ1DM (I think) who called at the end on 80 and my keyboard had
locked up into the infinite CQ loop. Tried powering down and restarting the
rig, but had to unplug the keyboard to get loop to stop - sorry, John!
Had 3-baggers with several stations, mostly out west, tonight, another rarity
for me. On the other hand, it seemed like every Q took some effort and I can't
recall winning any jump balls.
Not being heard well at 100 watts tonight doesn't bode well for IARU HF on
Saturday, but will probably wade into the QRP trenches for this one and it will
be a part-time effort.
Many thanks for the Qs, and sorry for some distracted keying at times - our
puppy Fiona Mae was running around my feet snatching things off the shack floor
that she shouldn't have. Had to leave the door open because it's too bloody hot
up here!
