Comments:
There have been six M-flares today, with the last M2-size
flare peaking during CWT at 1350Z. On 14 MHz the QSB was
very slow on the USA-signals, and CQ's went for a long
time "down under", so finally I was not able to work any
of the USA stations. The RBN's picked me up, even in VE6.
Conditions were actually best towards East, with E21EIC
heard (and Champ worked later on 21 MHz).
The M2-flare was noticeable on 21 MHz. It made the band
quiet, and I changed to 28 MHz for the last 5 minutes
with active CQ. No RBN-spots and no stations worked.
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
