Comments:
My first fringe VE/W-opening on 28 MHz in years.
In the last 10 minutes wkd VE3NZ K1ESE W1KM...
Spent some 5 minutes on Carlos PY4ME, but no
success despite a good signal level. Otherwise
it was busy on 28 MHz, but most not CWT.
For USA 21 MHz was the best band from up North,
and I even got a fair number of callers on my
own CQ. Signals on 14 MHz were more damped...
Running the IC-7300 from LTO-batteries and the
linear from the 230V mains (about 600 W output,
with a 50 years old Eimac 8873).
