FUN CONTEST. THE WEATHER DID NOT KEEP US OFF THE AIR THIS TIME. ALL EQUIPMENT
WORKED WELL. 10 AND 80 METERS WERE VERY NOISY ESPECIALLY TO THE WEST. THE
NOISE WAS TOTALLY BROAD BANDED LIKE WHITE NOISE. BOTH UPPER AND LOWER 10 METER
BEAMS WERE EQUALLY AFFECTED. THE 80 METER SLOPER ARRAY ALSO HAD THE HIGHEST
NOISE LEVEL TO THE WEST. HOWEVER BEVERAGES RECEPTION THE NOISE BY 90% ON 80.
THAT INDICATES MAN MADE NOISE AND WARRANTS FURTHER INVESTIGATION. 15, 20, AND 40
SEEMED TO BE UNAFFECTED AND PERFORMED WELL ALTHOUGH ONE OP INDICATED IT WAS
DIFFICULT TO KEEP A RUN GOING. TNX TO THE KH6, KH7 AND KL STATIONS WE WORKED
PLUS THE MANY OTHERS. WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME AND THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AS
EVER. 73 FROM OUR CREW, WA3EKL KB3VQC WT3K N3DPB
