Comments:
Aurora was prevailing and on the rise to near
50 GW at the end of the 0700Z session. Around
0730Z it provided an USA-window for Jim N3JT
and Marko NT6Q on 14 MHz. In the last quarter
Allan VK2GR came fluttering through. The begin
on 7 MHz was more solid, though several stations
seemed to have a high local QRN-level, and I did
not get through at the end of the pile-ups when
I was the only 'applicant'... On 14 MHz I had an
aggressive switching power supply visiting the
CWT-window a couple of dozen times with irregular
sweeps and sudden jumps. Not originating from my
private Zoo! The skip was very sharp to SW-areas.
X-rays have been hovering for three days on the
B/C-level border with occasional high end C-flares.
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
