Comments:
A major X1.3 blast for the daylight sector
peaking at 1737Z with still after-effects
for the 1900Z CWT-session. Most Europeans
were strong and S/P, so it was a tough job
to work VE/W through their local pile-ups.
Much time was spent on the big scorers, but
often without success. My own CQ was risky
for RX-ing with the local industry QRN.
The final 12 minutes on 7 MHz showed booming
signals, and the director to the West of the
vertical seems to perform well, while the
supporting tree is still frozen. It may well
be that summertime juices create many parallel
dummy-loads within the 'veins' of the birch tree.
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
