Comments:
X-rays near a flat B4-level. Started 6 minutes late
on 7 MHz due to installing a series Bird watt-meter
(with a 2500H slug). It seems the Daiwa is a bit
optimistic. The power cord to the container is
long and there is a considerable drop in voltage.
Twenty minutes of S/P on 7 MHz, then found that
14 MHz was busy, but signals weak. CWT-activity
was exceptionally wide: between 14.020 - 14.052.
Spent quite much time trying to get through the
pile-ups. It was mainly USA, but great to find
Carlos PY4XX and Bud V26K. Many signals were
borderline with poor S/N-ratio on the vertical
and the birdies of Ethernet switches around
14.030 (coming from the mains distribution
shack near the telephone pole mast). Having
problems with the tuner on 3.5 MHz, nil.
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
