Comments:
Very interesting conditions, given the fact
that the Sun dropped dead at Midnight-UTC.
During CWT the X-rays were below A1-level,
except for a small spell in the second half.
Probably it was the Winter Anomaly that helped
the MUF, as there were plenty of signals even
on 21 MHz FT8, and the attenuation was very
low in the ionospheric layers.
Many new USA calls, a rare dozen of British
contacts in my own run, and finally S/P kept
me on 14 MHz and made empty my promise to
PA0INA to see him later on 7 MHz. That has
to mean now: in the next session, sri Frans!
Probably my best score in half a year or so,
all 14 MHz on the low sloper wire, and paddle
CW during my own run. Outside -21 C with a
thick coating of snow on the radiating wire.
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
