Comments:
Started on 80. Signals were good, but I had to call CQ for 2 minutes, then did
a S&P contact, then back to the original frequency when the run stated. It
was good with some gaps, but ran out of stations even though propagation covered
the whole USA. TOok a brief check to hear JT5DX on 80. Went to 40 at 1338Z.
Only 46 QSOs there. I will have to try to raise the inverted vee or try
something else. It is just not effective when I change to 40 and the rate goes
down so drastically. I don't even try using the SteppIR anymore. It never
works.
Getting over my aches and pains for the moment so it was not too hard to sit in
the chair for an hour. The XYL brought me a smoothie and English muffin.
