Comments:
Apologies to aprox 10 of my QSO partners. The QRN was horrendous driving along
today. This is the first real dry day we've had in a while and the power
lines, they were talkin' to me !
Local humidity listed @ 21%.....and lately it's been in the 70-80% range.
(Heck, it snowed here on Monday !)
Anyways, I was a pipsqueak alligator and I could tell folks were calling me,
cursing my name. Sorry !
Thanks for all the FB Q's from the MINI. IT9MUO was an honest 5NN+10dB as I
pulled out of my parking spot, (with a huge bldg. as a corner reflector(?) but
the farther away from the bldg. I got, the weaker he got until he was well
below the S7 QRN I was experiencing. Very interesting.
Only other enhancements I "usually" see is when I cross the Mactaquac
Power Generating (Hydro-dam) and worked K4RUM then as I rattled across the
potholes.
UGH.....
Cheers all !
Mike VE9AA/M.....FT-857D, 100w, N3ZN miniMITE paddles, SD-330 antenna, 09 MINI
COOPER, 6-speed, pen/paper logging.
