Not an outstanding weekend, but better than 2004 when almost 200 less QSOs went
into the log. Most of the contest was a slow grind of pounding the F1 key, but
the short opening to Scandanavia around 19Z on Sunday was the biggest
surprise.
Surprised to work AK, but not HI, ID, UT or WY. Not many VE signals; the first
day only QC and ON were logged, but Sunday brought LB, NB, AT and BC for mults,
but not many QSOs.
The op was Doug, N8NX who loves ten meters enough to stay in the chair for the
operating period. This is becoming a regular event on the K8CC Contest
Calendar.
