My fourth BARTG, managed to beat last years score in spite of major
solar storm on Saturday. 20 was about as bad as I've ever seen it,
but in the evening 40 and 80 came back in great shape. The Sunday
morning opening to Europe was excellent. It seems that sometimes
after a solar storm the bands bounce back better than before. Anyone
else noticed that?
High point: Working 6W6JX (Senegal) on 15. First 15 meter African in
ages (a pretty good shot from Seattle). The sunspots are back!
