FULL WAVE HORIZONTAL LOOP UP 35', 1/4 WAVE 40 METER SLOPER UP 38',
GAP CHALLENGER 10-80 VERTICAL, 160 METER HELICALLY WOUND SHORT
VERTICAL UP 16', ICE MULTI-BAND BANDPASS FILTER, MFJ-432 VOICE KEYER
NOTES: Wx broke just in time for the contest- scraped up 7 q's on 10,
15 was dead here (43 q's). Had a ball on 80 with almost 300 q's on
the loop, as well as working 47 q's off the shunted loop and the
short vertical on 160! Biggest problem was Gene working 20 and
calling west coasters but few answers- then we found the rotor
had slipped from the mast- it was pointing due east (no fun from
the east coast...) Our best effort ever, broke in a new contester to boot.
We were awestruck by KP3P's and NK7U's multi numbers reported on
3830 after the show....Something to shoot for in the summer event
(maybe move to Puerto Rico and take up baseball, Hi?)
