Be careful of the description in my earlier post. I was going by what Jim
described. When I actually went to the site thinking I might pick up
another one I found that the picture of the card shown at the site
http://www.teamexcess.com/
doesn't match what I have. Mine has a game port and 4 audio ports. So I
went www.google.com and searched for "CT5807", which is the Creative Labs
part number given for the card given on teamexcess. I came up with the
following reference (among others)
http://www.activewin.com/win2000/win2000hcl.txt
Which purports to be a copy of the Microsoft HCL (Hardware Compatibility
List) for Windows 2000. The CT5807 is on that list as being "PC99"
compliant. Nothing more was said of it.
Sorry for any confusion. Nice site otherwise though.
