Hi John...
The greatest source of error is the capacitance of the connecting lead
to ground. Section 4.4 on page 10 addresses this. Section 6 on page 16
covers correction for inductance in the R capacitor.
I have written a program in Q-Basic that does all the computations for
you. It covers both long and short connecting leads, measurements
directly at the terminals and through coax cable. The internal
correction factors are for my particular bridge but you can change them
to match your bridge if necessary. They should be close enough to not
worry about.
